Mt Ruapehu located within the Tongariro national park is home to some of the most inspiring and unique landscapes in the world. The incredibly beautiful Whanganui River is equally inspirational and unique rolling gently through the Whanganui National Park.
The River Lodge provides access to activities and attractions for it's domestic and international visitors by arranging tour bookings and advice for accessing a wide range of attraction and activities located in both the Tongariro and Whanganui national parks. Activities include walks such as TheTongariro Crossing, Whanganui River jet boat and one day and half day canoe trips, challenging and easy cycling excursions and helicopter and fixed wing volcanic flights, drive tours and much more.
